(Biography)
Born in Cockburn Pen and raised in Maxfield Avenue, Simone Pinnock as she was named by birth was raised by her grandmother and aunts. At a very early stage of her life Simone discovered the love and passion that existed within her for music.
The first time she sang before an audience was at her Basic School Graduation and from thereon her friends would ask her to sing for them and at the age of twelve (12) Simone wrote her first song, titled “I Need You in My Arms”. Her childhood days were filled with various influences to include Music and so she has grown to love and accept music the way she does, with a passion.
Artistes that have made an impact or influenced her through their messages are Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, Queen Ifrica, and I Wayne. She likes Peter Tosh because of his revolutionary Style and path while Dennis Brown songs have motivated her many times.
Shayde, as she is now known was discovered by a member of the Signature Music Group team and the necessary connections were made and the rest is history. Shayde is now signed and managed by Signature Music Group Inc. A number of tracks have been recorded and the release of three (3) singles – titled “OUT OF MY HEAD”, “CHANGES” and “BLACK WOMAN” is currently being promoted and have been getting steady rotation on radio stations both locally and internationally.
As a Singer and Song Writer, Shayde has a gift for realism. Shayde songs and inspirations come from within and are authentic, respectful, emotional and sincere. Her songs are powerful and can be related to in some form, shape or way as her songs are based on experiences and everyday life situation.
Shayde is currently in studio recording a number of tracks as she works assiduously in promoting her music.
